The Otto Bremer Foundation has awarded $75,000 grants to two Detroit Lakes-based nonprofits: Lakes Crisis Resource Center and The Refuge.

The grants are part of $9.6 million in grants and program-related investments as part of Otto Bremer Foundation’s most recent grant-making cycle.

“We are delighted to provide support to a wide range of organizations across the three-state region where we make our investments,” said Brian Lipschultz, co-CEO and trustee of the foundation.

“Their work and dedication helps move communities forward for the betterment of all.”

Lakes Crisis and Resource Center will use the $75,000 to maintain advocacy, shelter, and children’s mental health services in Becker County.
