Hello, I've recently moved here to your town and always wondered why this town doesn't have a tornado warning system?
I see that we can raise money for United Way, the Pavilion, (which seems like it's used only 5-10 times per year), the Boys and Girls Club, the Holmes Center and many other fund-raisers. All of which I think is great and shows the spirit of this town.
But I would think the safety of our citizens would have some priority. Please, could someone explain this to us? -- Dan Anderson, Detroit Lakes
