David M. Weimer, 56, of Syracuse, Ind., died at 4:25 p.m. on Friday, February 10, 2006 at Goshen General Hospital in Goshen, Ind.
David was born to Donald M. and Irene E. (Kissinger) Weimer on July 4, 1949 in Gary, Ind. He graduated from Liberty High School in Chesterton, Ind. David moved to the Syracuse, Ind., area 28 years ago, from Wisconsin. He married Sue Brock on May 25, 1996 in Las Vegas. David was a business owner and salesman. He was a member of the Vineyard Community Church in Syracuse.
Surviving David are his wife, Sue Weimer; three daughters, Karianne (Steve) Winkelman of Syracuse, Angela Weimer of Syracuse and Danielle Weimer of Detroit Lakes; four sons, Corey (Crystal) Bliss of Detroit Lakes, Aaron (Autumn) Weimer of Syracuse, Chad and Renee Weimer of Detroit Lakes and Brent Weimer of Syracuse; his mother, Irene E. Weimer of Syracuse; 12 grandchildren; and three stepdaughters, Kim (Randy) Jordan of Huntersville, N.C., Gretchen (Sean) Mulkerrins of Arcadia, Calif., and Shea Brock of Pasadena, Calif.
Preceding David in death was his father, Donald Weimer.

Funeral services were held at Tuesday, Feb. 14, at the Vineyard Community Church in Syracuse, with the Rev. Kent Butcher and Rev. Jerry Ervin officiating. Burial followed at the Greenwood Cemetery in Syracuse.
