ST. PAUL - Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton delivers his annual State of the State speech Wednesday night, coming weeks later than normal.

Because hip surgery has hampered Dayton's mobility, he was not able to deliver the speech soon after the Legislature convened on Feb. 25. Governors normally give their State of the State addresses early in a legislative session to influence what legislators passed.

His 7 p.m. speech will be available via audio and video at House Public Information Services ( www.house.leg.state.mn.us/htv/mnhouse.asx ), public television's Minnesota Channel, Minnesota Public Radio, Minnesota News Network stations and WCCO radio.
