Anthony Allen Warren, 40, of 1760 Long Bridge Road, No. 35, Detroit Lakes has been charged in Becker county District Court with violating an order for protection, a felony.
According to court records, on Dec. 2 a woman reported that Warren had called her five times, in spite of a tribal no-contact order served on him the previous day.
He has seven prior convictions dating to 2001, including interfering with a 911 emergency call, domestic assault and making terroristic threats.
Warren appeared Wednesday before District Judge Joe Evans, who set bail or bond at $5,000, with standard conditions of release, and set his next court appearance for Jan. 25.
