Detroit Lakes yard waste site open again off Highway 59 North

The Detroit Lakes yard waste disposal and compost site on Stony Road is now open, according to a news release Wednesday afternoon from the city. The popular site off Highway 59 North has been closed since Saturday after a controlled burn of a large branch pile took longer than expected for city Public Works employees to extinguish.
