Dilworth woman, 87, killed when car hit by train

MOORHEAD — A Dilworth woman died Saturday, Feb. 1, after her car got hit by a train.

Police were called to the tracks near the 10 block of 14th Street around 2 p.m. Officers said the car was hit by a train heading east.

The driver, 87-year-old Lila Hoyme, of Dilworth, was taken to a local hospital where she later died.

Police are not releasing any more info about the investigation.
