A Detroit Lakes man made his first appearance in Becker County District Court on three charges Thursday.
District Judge Lisa Borgen set bond at $12,000 against Dean Block, 35, of 21834 County Road 104. His next court appearance is March 6.
Block is charged with one count each of first-degree driving while impaired-.08 or more, first-degree DWI and gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation.
Block was arrested Thursday by a Becker County sheriff's deputy, who allegedly observed Block driving erratically. Block tested .12 for alcohol.
According to court documents, Block has previous convictions for DWI.

Each felony charge has a maximum penalty of seven years in prison and a $14,000 fine. The gross misdemeanor charge is one year in jail and/or a $3,000 fine.
