A Detroit Lakes man was injured today in a two-vehicle hit-and-run crash on Highway 10 between Audubon and Lake Park.

Marcus A. Johnson, 20, of Detroit Lakes suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the rear-end collision, according to the State Patrol. He was driving a 1998 Chevy Cavalier.

A news release from the State Patrol does not explain what happened, but says it is investigating the crash, and that troopers are looking for a suspect vehicle believed to be a white, GMC Sierra extended cab pickup between 1992-1998 model.

The truck is missing its tailgate and left the scene headed east on Highway 10, likely with significant rear-end damage.

No time was given for the crash, which occurred on dry pavement at milepost 36.
