DL Senior Ctr. seeks funds for a new stove

The staff at the DL Senior Citizens Nutrition Center is soliciting donations for a new stove.

The current stove has 10 burners and of those, only four are working.

The senior center, which is located on Oak Grove Avenue (behind the Holmes Center), provides meals Monday through Friday for "Meals on Wheels" and daily lunches for seniors at the facility.

Please make donations payable to the DL Senior Citizens Nutrition Center at 801 Oak Grove Avenue or call Jessica Ressler with questions on how you can help at 218-847-5823.

Ressler is also selling Pizza Corner frozen pizza. All the proceeds she receives will be donated to the center for the stove fund.
