Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall announces that Kayla Lang, daughter of Marlene Lang of Detroit Lakes, has been selected to receive an Oscar and Cora Sather Presidential Scholarship, an SMSU Mentoring Award and leadership scholarships for the 2010-11 academic year.
Recipients of this scholarship are recognized for their academic accomplishments and outstanding leadership abilities.
Lang's planned major field of study is elementary education.
