Detroit Lakes Police Chief Kel Keena is one of six persons who have applied for the Moorhead police chief's position.
The other applicants are from North Dakota, Louisiana and Florida.
Moorhead Police Chief Grant Weyland is retiring at the end of June, and city officials hope to have a replacement hired by early May. The job pays between $67,679 and $94,751.
