Jason Duane Lampl, 24, has been sentenced in Becker County District Court for felony second-degree burglary.

According to court records, in June of 2014 he burglarized a cabin on South Dinner Lake Loop, Park Rapids.

The well pump and tank were removed from inside the cabin, and he also took 10 sheets of drywall, a quantity of lumber, and some tools and household items.

He was charged after DNA on a cigarette butt left at the site was traced to him via a state database. At the time he was a suspect in several other burglaries in the park rapids area.

On Sept. 16, District Judge Joe Evans sentenced him to 23 months in state prison at St. Cloud, stayed 10 years.

He was ordered to serve 120 days in jail, with credit for 60 days served.

He was fined $1,000 plus $210 in court fees, and ordered to pay restitution of $3,679. He was placed on supervised probation for 10 years.
