Detroit Lakes Public Schools have planned a series of open houses in anticipation of the start of fall classes.
The high school, middle school and Area Learning Center will all be opening their doors to the public this Wednesday, Sept. 1, with the middle school event set from 4 to 6 p.m., and the high school and ALC events both starting at 5 p.m. Ninth graders and their parents are asked to come to DLHS between 5 and 6 p.m., while the open house for grades 10-12 will be from 6 to 7 p.m.
Meanwhile, both Rossman and Roosevelt elementary schools will be hosting their open houses on Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 7-8. Parents are asked to contact their child's school to set up an appointment on one of the two open house days. Parents of preschool students will be contacted by their children's teachers directly to set up a meeting time.
