Detroit Lakes High School seniors Abbee Traurig and Nate Cihak were crowned 2021 Homecoming Queen and King at a Coronation ceremony at the high school on Monday afternoon, Sept. 27.
Also crowned, as Princes and Princesses, were juniors Justine Riewer and Tyler Haus, sophomores Cocoa Knowles and Marv Mai, and freshmen Isla Pender and Tommy Suckert.
The Coronation included special performances by the Laker Jazz Band and Laker Singers, as well as a celebration of fall sports senior athletes. Students Alex Bettcher and Grace Riewer emceed, and Carson Rogstad and Marcus Lyman were the ushers.
Homecoming is going on all week in Detroit Lakes, Sept. 27-Oct. 1.
