A felony complaint was filed against a Fargo man in Becker County District Court Friday.
Timothy Gigler, 20, of 1818 5th Street North, is accused of first-degree burglary-dangerous weapon and second-degree burglary of a dwelling. His first court appearance is April 17.
According to the court complaint, a rural Becker County homeowner reported Dec. 16, 2005, that his residence had been broken into sometime within the previous two weeks. He said a number of items had been taken.
A Becker County sheriff's deputy searched a rural Becker County residence Dec. 29 in which Gigler was present and found a number of items that allegedly had been stolen earlier in the month.
The first-degree charge carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and/or a $35,000 fine. The second-degree charge is 10 years in prison and/or a $20,000 fine.
