ADA, Minn. – A fire destroyed a home here Sunday night, though officials are still searching for what caused the blaze.
The fire was reported by a passerby at about 11 p.m. and firefighters were on the scene quickly, according to Ada Police Chief Jody Bueng.
Bueng said the fire, which appeared to have originated in the kitchen area, spread quickly. The house was a total loss, he said.
Bueng said firefighters remained on the scene until about 6 a.m. Monday and returned later that morning when hotspots flared up again.
He said no one was home at the time of the fire. The house is owned by Brock Robertson, according to Bueng.
