A GoFundMe site has been set up to help a Frazee family recover from a Monday, Jan. 20, house fire.

Morgan Fincher, 24, was the only one inside the house. He has second- and third-degree burns, according to the GoFundMe, and is on a ventilator to help his breathing from smoke inhalation.

"His lower half was burnt pretty bad," Frazee Fire Chief Joe Nelson said Tuesday, Jan. 21. "He was the only one in the house at the time ... I'm not sure what the reasoning was of him being in the house."

According to a previous Tribune article, the house was a total loss. All possessions inside the house, including two dogs, were lost as well. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the State Fire Marshal.

This is the second time the Fincher family has activated the GoFundMe account.

The page originally started in October when Robert (Bobby) Fincher found out that he had Stage 4 terminal lung cancer. Fincher died on Friday, Oct. 18, joining his late wife Elizabeth Fincher and leaving behind seven kids.
