A construction trailer caught on fire outside of Detroit Lakes High School on Monday, Nov. 23.

About 4:30 p.m., a caller reported a trailer fire in the high school parking lot where construction workers had been working.

Detroit Lakes firefighters responded and extinguished the blaze within 10 minutes of the call being received.

It is unknown what caused the trailer to catch fire, which had been used to store supplies and equipment for ongoing high school construction, according to construction workers.
