A Frazee man faces three felony domestic assault charges after an altercation earlier this month.
Nicholas Edward Durant, 24, made his initial court appearance in Becker County Court.
According to the complaint, Frazee police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance on Second Street.
A witness there told police Durant had been “beating” an adult female, and that when he went to call police, Durant got angry and hit him in the head as well.
According to the report, the male victim and Durant had lived together for the past four years, and the female victim and Durant had a relationship. The female’s child was also at the scene of the incident.

Bail was set at $3,000 with conditions.
