Christopher Lynn Nelson, 38, of Frazee, has been charged in Becker County District with felony harassment and four gross misdemeanor charges of violating a no-contact order.
According to court records, on Feb. 8, a woman contacted the police, upset and crying, because Nelson continually called and said he was coming to her house in Frazee. She left her home so he could not find her. Nelson called several times while a deputy was there talking to the woman, according to court records, and argued with the deputy over the phone about contacting the woman.
Nelson was charged with domestic abuse against the same woman in 2018, and a DANCO order (Domestic Abuse No Contact Order) order for protection was issued then, and re-issued by the court in February of 2019.
On Feb. 10, District Judge Steven Cahill issued a warrant for Nelson’s arrest.
