A Frazee man made his first appearance Monday in Becker County District Court on a felony charge of first-degree criminal property damage.
Kyle James Bachmeier, 24, of 20371 Rew Lane, Frazee, is accused of smashing in the rear windshield of a vehicle parked in the Acorn Lake trailer park on Saturday, Oct. 15. The incident was reported at around 6:51 p.m.; witnesses identified Bachmeier as the person who smashed in the windshield, causing approximately $1,200 in damages to the vehicle.
Bachmeier is currently in custody at the Becker County Jail, pending his next court appearance at a Nov. 7 omnibus hearing before District Court Judge Joseph Evans. His bail has been set at $1,000 with conditions, or $5,000 without conditions.
