Lee Ingvalson, Frazee, was elected by local members of Genex Cooperative, Inc. to serve as a 2006 delegate and recently represented area members at the Genex Annual Meeting.
Delegates are elected each year to represent approximately 100 Genex members. Delegates directly impact the cooperative by electing a director for the Genex board of directors and providing valuable input to the board and senior management.
Input from delegates has largely impacted the cooperative. Recent delegate involvement led to a national expansion in Genex membership in January. Delegates also provided input on the marketing of Decisive™ semen for advanced gender selection following last October's announcement for Genex to market Monsanto's new product.
