Hub 41 hosted the 2nd annual beer quaffing competition on Saturday, Feb. 15. The competition started at 2 p.m., following the polar plunge.
To compete, teams must have four members, one standing at each end of a table and the other two in opposite middle sides. One member slides a beer across the table to the opposite end, where another person catches it in mid-air (off the table) with one hand and drinks it as fast as they can. After finishing it, their team members waiting in the middle take their spots, and the cycle continues in a clockwise motion.
This year, quaffers had three levels of competition:

- Normal, catch and drink
- Spin 360 degrees and then catch and drink
- Catch under your leg and drink
There were eight teams competing at the event.
