A 17-year-old girl was injured in a two-car accident Saturday afternoon on Highway 10 West near Kmart.
Alison Monique Willette was taken to Essentia St. Mary’s Hospital by St. Mary’s Ambulance. A condition report was not available.
She was a passenger in a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck driven by Kyle Eugene Tibbetts, 18, of Ogema.
The pickup was eastbound on Highway 10 when it collided with another pickup truck, also eastbound on Highway 10, which turned abruptly in front of it, according to a witness in another vehicle and a passenger in the first pickup.
The second pickup, also a Chevy Silverado, was driven by Kenneth Albert Nordstrom, 80, of Andover, Minn.

Tibbett’s pickup hit Nordstrom’s pickup in the driver’s side door. The witness said it looked like Nordstrom had been trying to make a U-turn. Neither driver reported being injured, according to the police report.
