GLYNDON, Minn. – Cass County sheriff’s deputies arrested a man in a field about 10 miles north of here early Sunday after a vehicle and foot pursuit lasted more than an hour.
Sgt. Brian Norberg said a deputy tried to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation shortly before 2:30 a.m. Sunday outside of Glyndon when the driver sped away, driving on Highway 9, then west on gravel roads before his vehicle went into the ditch along 100th Avenue North.
Norberg said the driver then fled on foot into a field and hid.
He said Glyndon and Dilworth police officers arrived and set up a perimeter around the field.
The Fargo Police Department brought a search dog that found the driver.
