Rep. Green takes fourth oath of office
ST. PAUL — State Rep. Steve Green, R-Fosston, performed his fourth oath of office in the Minnesota House of Representatives Tuesday as the 91st Legislature was sworn in at the Capitol.
Green was re-elected to the House in November and represents District 2B, which encompasses all of Mahnomen and portions of Becker, Clearwater, Hubbard, Otter Tail, and Wadena counties. Green is serving on the House Environment and Natural Resources Policy, Environment and Natural Resources Finance, State Government Finance, and Legacy Finance committees.
"It is nice to get back to the Capitol and get to work on behalf of the people in District 2B," Green said. "We face some serious challenges here in Greater Minnesota and much of my focus will remain on those issues so we can not only make improvements to help now, but to strengthen our communities for the long term. I am happy that we are back to business to take on important issues at the Capitol."
Greeen said he welcomes input from local citizens throughout the year, particularly during the legislative session. He can be reached by emailing rep.steve.greenwww.house.mn/2B.
