Candidate profile: Pat Moran is program manager of the White Earth Substance Abuse Program
My name is Pat Moran and I am married to Daryl Moran Sr. and we have seven children and 22 grandchildren. I have dedicated my life to serving my people, helping them with life issues and supporting them in their recovery from addictions. I know what addiction is like, I've been there.
I am a member of the White Earth Assembly of God church, here in White Earth.
Today, I ask for your support as I run for tribal chairwoman. Some may be aware of my services to the White Earth Nation as program manager of the White Earth Substance Abuse Program. I will always help and serve people who suffer from addictions and their families, by aiding them in their recovery.
I have made many mistakes in my life and probably will make more. However, I am stepping out in faith and I hope to make a difference.
I will continue to support and serve the families of the White Earth Reservation. I will support our reservation by serving its members. With an honest, dependable open-door policy.
The White Earth Reservation is my home and I want to be a positive role-model and make positive changes, one day at a time, one step at a time and one community at a time. I will work with the other members of the tribal council serving the White Earth nation.
I would like your vote, because you think I will make a difference in the White Earth Nation. I am not going to make a bunch of empty promises. But with Yahweh help, I will make a difference. I have a vision for the White Earth Nation, because without a vision people perish.
Yahweh made us, and he gave us talents and gifts to use for his purpose and plan here on earth.
I know what our issues are, and our community members know the issues we face here on the White Earth Reservation and we need to work together to solve them. No one person can do it, but we can accomplish anything if we work together.
Please elect Pat Moran for chairwoman — I know where I came from, I know where I'm at today and I know where I am going, and you can too.
