In cooperation with the Native American Business Development Center, Procurement Technical Assistance Center, UIDA Business Services, and the U.S. Small Business Administration, the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe is sponsoring a Government Procurement Auction on March 9 at the Northern Lights Casino & Hotel near Walker.
The auction is free to the public and will take place at the Northern Lights Casino Event Center, 6800 Y Frontage Road. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m., and trade fair and various workshops are slated to take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. To register online at the Minnesota District SBA Office Web site, go to www.sba.gov/mn .
Companies interested in doing business with government agencies and prime contractors can meet with representatives from the respective organizations. In addition, attendees can participate in workshops on topics ranging from becoming HUBZone certified to how to sell to the government.
