High-speed chase ends with arrests in Fargo

Two people were arrested Monday in Fargo on suspicion of fleeing police from two states at high speeds in a stolen vehicle.

Glenn Palacio, 19, of Agency Village, S.D., was arrested for fleeing police, DUI and theft of property for stealing the white Chevy S10 Blazer he was driving.

His passenger, Serena Brent, 18, also of Agency Village, was arrested for fleeing on foot and minor in consumption.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol was contacted by the South Dakota Highway Patrol at 9:30 a.m. about the stolen vehicle traveling northbound on Interstate 29.

The chase ended around 10:30 a.m., when Palacio and Brent were found hiding in bushes at Sts. Anne and Joachim Catholic Church, 5202 25th St. S., the Highway Patrol said.

The vehicle had exited off Interstate 29 at 52nd Avenue South.

The Highway Patrol and Fargo Police were both involved in the arrests.
