Gloria Hilde was presented the Super Service Award for the month of September, sponsored by the Promotions and Events Committee of the Detroit Lakes Regional Chamber of Commerce.
"That is really something," she said Thursday afternoon when presented with flowers, a plaque and Chamber bucks. Hilde has worked the last 13 years at Burger King, and Thursday also happened to be her last day of work before retiring. She cleaned the dining room area at Burger King.
"I've gotten to know so many nice people," she said. "I don't know their names, but I know them when I see them. I'm gonna miss this place."
