Hi! My name is Bubba and this is my son Bear and this is our story.
I am a registered Boston terrier stud male and I live by Frazee. I am very valuable because I have fathered many puppies and have made thousands of dollars for my family.
Well, March 11, my son and I were enjoying the great spring weather and took off for a long walk. We came upon this place that had ducks and a turkey. We were so excited and couldn't help but chase after their ducks and turkey. I'm used to playing with turkeys because we have them at our home.
Then this man came out. I thought he would trap us in the pen and call our owners because I had my beautiful purple collar on with my ID tag. Instead, he pulled out a large gun and shot me dead. Then, as I was dying, I heard them fire a shot at my son, killing him dead also. I couldn't even save my son? He trusted me and followed me and now he is dead too!
I know we were wrong to chase the ducks and turkey, but did it have to end so bloodily? Couldn't they have called our owners? I know they would have gladly paid any damages to their animals. Couldn't they have kicked us away-- we only are 15 pounds? Couldn't they have fired a shot in the air or used a BB gun to scare us?

Most people I have met would have handled it differently. Instead, we had to run into a person who couldn't even give a warning to our owners before he shot.
I remember a time when these same people had dogs that came to visit us at our house. My owner packed their dogs in our truck and brought them back to their place unharmed. Why can't all people be like that? Isn't that the right thing to do?
Well, I've said enough, but I just wanted you all to know that I was more than a pet. I was part of a loving family who loved me and my son very much. We had many more years to live.
Instead, our lives were cut short after running into a gun-happy person who never gave a warning and shot us dead!
