Local DFLers attend Greater MN Summit

DFL leaders from Becker County traveled to Walker on Feb. 26-27 to attend the Greater Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Summit.

Participants included DFLers from Minnesota's sixth, seventh and eighth congressional districts. While at the summit, they had the opportunity to meet and discuss issues with fellow DFL leaders and elected officials from around the Greater Minnesota. Participants also attended various workshops on many topics, including candidate recruitment, social media, campaign finance and management and messaging and communications, as well as exchanging information at lively roundtable discussions.

Attending from Becker County were Aaron Wttinebel, affirmative action officer for the seventh congressional district and secretary of the Becker County DFL, and Ted Fiskevold, associate chair of the Minnesota Senate District 2 DFL.
