Bemidji State University has announced departmental and program scholarship recipients for the 2010-11 school year.
In the University's Department of Visual Arts, 10 students were awarded scholarships in 11 categories. The awards were among nearly 400 student scholarships for 2010-11 announced during the University's 91st commencement ceremonies on May 7.
Alyssa Hodnefield, of Battle Lake, won the Eugene Dalzotto Art Purchase Award - Bronze, and Malisa VanMaasdam, of Vergas, won the Malmquist Art Purchase Award.
