Trevor Oliver Larson, 47, of Cass Lake has been charged in Becker County District Court with felony controlled substance DWI.

According to court records, on the evening of June 16, a deputy on patrol near Ponsford pulled Larson over in a maroon Pontiac Grand Prix for driving erratically.

Larson admitted to using marijuana approximately one hour before the stop, and his driving privileges were canceled as inimical to public safety. He passed a breathalyzer test for alcohol, but performed questionably on field sobriety tests, and was arrested on suspicion of controlled substance DWI. A blood sample was sent to a Bureau of Criminal Apprehension lab for testing.

He has numerous prior drug and impaired driving convictions.

On June 17, cash bail or bond for Larson was set at $20,000, with standard conditions of release, or bond at $75,000 with no conditions.
