A Mahnomen man was sentenced to 68 months in prison for burglarizing a residence near Osage.
32-year old Patrick Dwane Buckanaga Jr. was convicted of the felony, which happened November 26, 2013.
According to reports from Becker County District Court, the victim in the case followed Buckenaga’s car after the incident, pointing law enforcement towards the residence where an officer had just witnessed Buckenaga pull into.
There, officers found several stolen items named by the victim, including a 7mm Remington Magnum bold action rifle.
Buckenaga had previous convictions, including felony terroristic threats in February, 2002 and felony motor vehicle thefts in December, 2001 and April, 2000.
