Chanan El Carlson, 43, of 812 Third St., Audubon, is accused in Becker County District Court of failing to register his current address.
In 1993, he was convicted of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct and was required to keep authorities informed as to his current address.
On March 10, 2006, he allegedly told the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension he was living in Menahga, but a Becker County sheriff's investigator allegedly discovered March 27 that he had been living with his girlfriend in Ogema, according to court records. He had allegedly recently moved at that time and since then has been living in Audubon with his girlfriend.
He allegedly never informed authorities as to his current address.
