A Detroit Lakes man was sentenced last week in Becker County District Court on a felony charge of selling drugs.
Mark Anthony Kehn, 24, of 312 Summit Ave., Detroit Lakes, was given a stay of sentence imposition, on conditions including completion of 30 days in jail, community service work in lieu of $1,085 in court fines and fees, and up to five years of supervised probation.
If he successfully completes probation, the felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance crime-sales will be reduced to a misdemeanor on Kehn's record. A second count of felony drug possession was dismissed.
The charges against Kehn stemmed from an Aug. 5, 2010 incident in which agents of the West Central Minnesota Drug Task Force executed a warrant at his Detroit Lakes home.
They found 34.3 grams of marijuana and five white pills containing hydrocodone, as well as supplies used for selling drugs including digital scales, packaging materials and smoking devices. According to the complaint, Kehn did not have a prescription for the hydrocodone.
