Man injured in Hwy 34 rollover at Height of Land Lake

He was westbound on Highway 34 when his 2016 Dodge Ram left the roadway, entered the right ditch and vaulted on an approach before coming to rest, according to the State Patrol.

A Chicago man was injured Wednesday when his pickup truck left Highway 34, hit an approach and vaulted at Height of Land Drive.

James Alfred Janos, 25, was westbound on Highway 34 when his 2016 Dodge Ram left the roadway, entered the right ditch and vaulted on an approach before coming to rest, according to the State Patrol.

He suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Essentia Health St. Mary’s. He was wearing a seatbelt, and airbags deployed in the pickup truck.

The crash was reported at 6:48 a.m. Wednesday on dry pavement in Height of Land Township. The Becker County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
