WINDOM -- A man was killed in a head-on crash last night in Cottonwood County while being pursued by police.
The victim's name is not being released at this time.
According to the State Patrol, the Windom police department was pursuing a 2011 Datsun Sentra that was going west on state Highway 62 around 8 p.m. when the vehicle struck a semi head-on.
The driver of the semi, John Rooney, 42, of Tracy, was not injured.
The Cottonwood County Sheriff's Department and the Windom Police Department assisted the State Patrol at the scene of the accident.
