Dean Leroy Block, 36, of 21834 County Road 104, Detroit Lakes was sentenced Monday in Becker County District Court for felony first-degree DWI.
Another DWI charge and a gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation charge were dismissed in a plea agreement.
The vehicle he was driving was stopped by a deputy on Feb. 23, 2006, for weaving on Highway 10 near Audubon. His blood alcohol level tested at .12 percent, according to court records.
He has three prior DWI convictions, one in 2002 and two in 2005.
District Judge Thomas Schroeder sentenced him to 42 months in prison, execution of sentence stayed seven years, and placed him on supervised probation. He was ordered to serve 180 days in jail and pay a $4,500 fine (with $1,000 of that stayed) plus court fees. He must submit to random drug testing.
