Zachary Daniel Hanebuth, 18, of 17568 East Howe Lake Road, Detroit Lakes was sentenced Thursday for felony third-degree burglary.
He pleaded guilty Feb. 11 and a second felony charge of attempted third-degree burglary was dropped in a plea agreement.
On Oct. 1 Hanebuth and several others were involved in garage burglaries in the Eagle Lake Road area, according to court records.
On Thursday, District Judge Mark Hansen stayed imposition of sentence for five years and placed him on supervised probation. He must serve 30 days in jail, with work release privileges granted, and pay a $1,000 fine plus court fees.
