A Fargo, N.D., man was sentenced in Becker County District Court on a felony charge Thursday.

District Judge Waldemar Senyk stayed execution of an 18-month prison sentence against Jonathan Stodola, 20, of 4227 9th Avenue Southwest, for violation of a protection order.

Stodola must serve 90 days in jail with credit for time served, was fined $1,217 and be on supervised probation for up to five years.

Stodola was arrested outside a Lake Park residence on Nov. 3, 2005, by a Becker County deputy. The residential occupant had a protection order against Stodola, who has three previous convictions for protection order violations.
