DULUTH, Minn. - A Hubbard County man accused of robbing the First National Bank of Walker last winter was sentenced to 71 months in prison on Monday in U.S. District Court here.
Edward Joseph Lowen, 54, was convicted of taking $2,525 in cash from the Akeley branch bank on Feb. 26, 2010.
He was indicted on one count of bank robbery in April and convicted of the single count by a federal jury July 13.
