Former Detroit Lakes resident Mark Piche, 28, of Breckenridge, Colo., died Saturday, February 11, 2006 in Breckenridge.
Mark Benjamin Clifford Piche was born to Ben and Sylvia (Bevolden) Piche on May 26, 1977 in Crookston, Minn. He came to Detroit Lakes with his family in 1981, and attended Detroit Lakes Public Schools. After completing school, he worked in the Detroit Lakes area doing sheet rock work, and later drove a delivery truck for Beverage Wholesalers of Detroit Lakes. Mark moved to Dillon, Colo., in 2001 and to Breckenridge, Colo., in 2004. While in Colorado, he worked as a cook for Fatty's Pizzeria.
Mark enjoyed snowboarding, teaching snowboarding, hiking in the mountains, and Legion baseball.
Surviving Mark are his parents, Benjamin Piche of Frazee and Sylvia Piche of Audubon; his grandparents, Eileen and Clifford Bevolden of Fertile, Minn., Charles and Betty Barkie of Grand Forks, N.D., and George Piche of Red Lake Falls, Minn.; one sister, Renae Kleingartner of Fargo; and one brother, Scott (Lisa) Piche of Detroit Lakes.

Friends may call between 5-7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19 at the David-Donehower Funeral Home in Detroit Lakes, and one hour prior to services on Monday, Feb. 20 at the church.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church in Detroit Lakes, with the Rev. Bill Meier officiating. Interment is in Lakeside Cemetery, Frazee.
