A lakeside social for alumni and friends of Mayville State University, Mayville, N.D., is planned for Saturday, July 24, from 5-8 p.m. The event will be held at the lake home of Harvey and Carol Knudson, 32338 Loon Drive, Vergas.
Mayville State alumni and friends are invited to gather to visit and enjoy heavy appetizers, wine, beer and sodas. Hosts will be Carol and Harvey Knudson, Diane and Dennis Larson, Allison and Rick Newman, Eileen and Bob Carlson, and Bill and Sandy Brudvik.
A donation of $15 per person will be collected at the door. All proceeds will be used to benefit the Division of Education & Psychology at Mayville State University.

Driving Directions to the Knudson Lake Home: Travel through Vergas, heading southeast on Highway 4. Pass the gas station on the right, just out of town. Take the next left, Loon Drive. Veer right at the first fork in the road, and left at the second fork. Head down the curved hill and pass over the land bridge which says "Private Property." The Knudsons' is the third house on the right.
