Get in the Mardi Gras spirit! Ministry of Jazz, the dixieland band that wowed audiences last year, will be back at the New York Mills Regional Cultural Center on Saturday, Feb. 25 at 8 p.m. for another stunning concert, as part of the center's Hot Jazz for Cold Nights concert series.
Ministry of Jazz consists of Joe Riewer on drums, Harley Sommerfeld on clarinet, Ed Christenson on trombone, John Peterson on trumpet, Detroit Lakes' own Kathy Brekke on keyboard and vocals and Kent Karch on the upright bass.
The band members, who hail from the Fargo-Moorhead area and Frazee, are a group of serious musicians who like to have fun playing it.

Also at NYMRCC, New York Mills artist Pam Robinson's one-woman show will be on display in the gallery until March 25. A reception in her honor will be held at the gallery this Saturday, Feb. 18, starting at 6:30 p.m. Dave Virnala will be the featured entertainment.
