One person was killed and two were injured this morning in a two-vehicle collision in Minnesota's Roseau County.

The name of the victim has not been released, according to a report from Minnesota State Patrol.

According to the report, vehicles operated by Barbara Kotta, 59, Warroad, Minn., and Kyle Dion, 18, Salol, Minn., collided at about 7 a.m. along Minnesota Highway 11.

The State Patrol report said Dion was operating a 2001 Mazda Protégé eastbound on Highway 11 when the car drifted off to the right shoulder. The driver then overcorrected, which resulted in the vehicle entering westbound traffic and turning sideways prior to impact with a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee operated by Kotta.

The name, age or place of residence of the deceased victim has not been released yet by the State Patrol.
