The race for State House District 8B was decided by one vote.
With all precincts reporting, Republican Mary Franson received 10,652 votes to the 10,651 votes received by DFLer Bob Cunniff.
The district includes much of eastern Otter Tail County and a chunk of Douglas County, including the city of Alexandria, where both candidates live.
