OXBOW, N.D. - A 93-year-old Akeley woman was killed in a rollover accident late Wednesday on Interstate 29 south of Fargo.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol plans to release the woman's name at 5 p.m. today.
She was a front-seat passenger in a sport utility vehicle that skidded out of control and went into the ditch when a rear tire blew shortly after 11 p.m. just north of the Oxbow exit, the patrol said.
The SUV rolled and came to rest on its roof. The woman was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.
The 68-year-old male driver and a 62-year-old female passenger, also from Akeley, were not injured.
